Little Black Dress, Yes Please

I cannot remember exactly when I fell in love with a little black dress. And since then, it has become my wardrobe essential in every occasion. A Little Black Dress is a magical piece for every woman. Owning one is not enough to have several to be on top of the fashion game.

It is also known as LBD.

The history of LBD starts before the 1800s and becoming more popular in the late 1800s. The high-end class started wearing afterward, the low-class borrowed the trend. When the rich saw this, they made sure their tailors made changes so the average people would not keep up. During this period, some fashion houses associated it with a dress for working-class women. We cannot go wrong when we say an LBD has never gone out of fashion other than design changes that are made to suit every woman's needs.

Look description

  • Long necklace piece instead of a belt to show the petite body

  • skater dress for a petite body.

  • Red pearl stud earrings to accessorize

  • White waterfall sweater to add color

  • siz prefers doll shoes instead of heels.

Do not estimate the power of a Little Black Dress. It is Versatile, chic, and classic. Wear your favorite or almost favorite LBD to a wedding, dinner, work, funeral, or any other occasion the list is endless.

Ckenna’s Tip

Ø Play around with coats, sweaters, and jackets. Go for a leather jacket; it complements the LBD not too casual or too formal.

Ø LBDs are easy to accessorize. Accessorize with neckpieces, bags, belts, and scarves.

Ø Consider a clutch bag or a sling bag.

Ø Go for colorful, floral, or patterned scarves and bags.

Ø Accessorize with a belt. It does magic; giving you that petite look.

Ø Shoes play a huge role. Pair with sneakers for a sporty look and a girly look pair with heels or gladiators.

P.S

You can never go wrong with a little black dress, trust me. Wear it on any LBD-themed parties, wine tastings, and dinner and charity balls, and thank me later.

Happiness and Light,

Love Ckenna,
